Sometimes, you get this urge to MAXIMIZE a pregnant woman’s ‘GLOW‘ with THE GOLDEN HOUR. This session is the very definition of why I love shooting close to sunset. The colors, tones, lighting, … everything is just perfect.
Not to mention, the sky’s colors during sunset happened to be SPOT ON with the color of this gorgeous mama to be’s dress. no big deal. 😉
I’ve been waiting on pins and needles to show you these incredible lifestyle images from this couple’s new home. They’ve just settled into the North Shore of Chicago, Wilmette. I loved being able to utilize different parts of their home during their maternity session, even though they just moved in. The majority of their moving boxes hadn’t arrived yet, so a lot of the rooms didn’t have their furnishings. Essentially, it was like a huge home studio! Luckily, kitchens are already ‘furnished’ with cabinetry, and we did a few simple portriats in front of a window, and we used their backyard (aka Wilmette BEACH!) for the rest of the session. I can’t wait to see them (and their gorgeous home!!!) again in just a few short weeks to meet their precious baby girl for their lifestyle newborn session.
