I don’t photograph senior photo sessions all that often, but when I do… I NAIL IT. And it just so happens to help that Emma is my eldest niece.
Isn’t she STUNNING?!?! Not only did she take direction well, but my oh my she’s photogenic. Obviously I told her parents that they basically have a model for a daughter.
Fun fact: I had no idea that a graduation cap is formally known as a ‘mortarboard’. So if you didn’t know, now you do!
Oh, and did I mention she’s an extremely talented dancer?! And that she powered through some of these incredible moves EN POINTE… repeatedly… wait for it: in 90+ degree heat. I say that we pulled off effortless-looking portraits, amiright?! Just goes to show that you can do whatever you put your mind to.
Emma, you are by far one of the smartest young women I’ve ever met- I cannot wait to see what your ambition and hard-work brings you in the future!

I would describe myself as an introverted extrovert. I love to interact with people but also value time to recharge. I am very hands on and technical, but enjoy getting to express myself through dance and music.

My favorite motto is “she believed she could and she did”. I love it because it embodies how I strive to live my life; knowing that believing in yourself leads to happiness and success.
I am currently obsessed with short summer dresses, so I had to include one in my senior picture. You actually pieced together my last outfit with me and it ended up being my favorite out of the three!
I love when people are photographed in front of concrete buildings I think it makes the person pop and I wanted to incorporate something like that into my locations.
I have become much more comfortable with myself and speaking up, I have overcome a lifetime of anxiety, and I have gotten closer than ever with my family.
I am most proud of my black belt in taekwondo. That chapter of my life is now closed but I think that earning that belt really showed me that hard work pays off.
Don’t be afraid to try new things just because you are afraid what others will say or think.
She believed she could, so she did
You were my first choice of course because you are so welcoming and know exactly what you are doing. You tell me how to position my body exactly and I love that because it makes me feel very comfortable.
I love the image of me with the green leo and jeans where I am kneeling down. I feel so confident when I look at that picture.
She is the absolute best. She takes amazing care and time to make sure that you are happy with the outcome.
My biggest fear was that I wouldn’t like how I looked. I struggle with that sometimes but that definitely did not come true. A smile comes to my face every time I look at those pictures. You made me feel so self-confident.
You were absolutely amazing and made me feel so safe and confident during the shoot.
