The fact that I am one of the first to get a text message, phone call or email alerting me that my client is in labor and had their baby is such a big deal to me. It’s like privileged information, and I’m instantly ‘tier one’ status. Doing a Fresh 48 hospital newborn session is such an incredible series because within those first two days, everything is still so NEW. So fresh. And there’s so many raw emotions- which is the CORE of what I do, why I do, and what fuels my passion for this business that I work so tirelessly at. And seriously- I may be saying this a lot, but it’s the best ‘job’ ever. I can’t believe I get paid to do what I love, and I don’t take it for granted. Because I get to document all these blessings in life.
