I met this family at their home for their Newborn Session and got to work documenting their love in their cozy home in the awesome Ravenswood neighborhood in Chicago. The nursery alone has such a cute Harry Potter theme, with furniture, toys, and artwork. One of my personal favorite books! And I found out later that this mama is an author (you should check out her work here and here).
We started out with portraits of this sweet baby girl since she was so cooperative, and then detail shots of the baby, and of course the family portraits! I love it when I get clients like these- they are just so light-hearted, sweet, and just down to earth people. I love just witnessing the immense love in the room with this new family. It made getting some beautiful candid shots genuinely easy. You can really see the warm fuzzy feelings they have for each other in these images. I really do get the best clients ever- I consider myself a lucky, lucky lady.
