Getting married part ONE | Downtown city hall marriage | chicago lifestyle photographer
PIIIINCH ME! I couldn’t have had a better couple to work with for this amazing, intimate love-filled weekend celebrating these two. (You may remember them from the recent Navy Pier engagement session I posted recently.) Their private marriage ceremony establishing the start of their journey together as one, their vows- I absolutely LOVED the way they arranged their whole weekend. The sheer intimacy of this downtown Chicago elopement made me envious of the vast amount of opportunity we had to document the day. We started out the first day of the weekend at Hotel Lincoln where we did a ‘first look’ up on the rooftop at the J.Parker, and then I joined them in a Chicago taxi cab for a ride to their first meal as a wedded couple (at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago).
P.S. I took so many images between the two days, I broke these days up into two posts. Stay tuned for memories documenting The Dawson the next evening where they were joined by close friends and family to celebrate.
