When you meet some of the nicest people on the planet, you think they hit the family lottery when you meet their darling baby girl and their A M A Z I N G golden-doodle pup Maizey. We’re talking the most well-behaved dog I’ve EVER met. Pretty hard to believe for a golden-doodle temperament, even if she’s 3. And she was so sweet, patient and calm with her little baby sister, she even fell asleep!
I just love meeting couples during these family sessions because you really get to witness their rhythm. It’s a well-synchronized balance between one parent collecting the burp cloth, the other on diaper duty. One feeding. The other swaddling. Dad here has crazy long arms, so he was like a human baby swing. His daughter LOVES his arm swings!! And let’s not forget about the coveted ‘BABY SHUSHER’. I wish I invented this thing. These folks were smart enough to already own one!! (I never arrive to a newborn session without it.) It’s just so incredible being able to share all of these intimate early memories for a family.
