When this sweet mama contacted me to do a family session for her and her husband, and darling 6 month old baby girl, I was so excited! She wanted this session to represent Chicago- to show her daughter where she was born and where they lived (they plan on moving back overseas). We decided on Montrose Beach since of its logisitcal ease, has beach + skyline views, and a cool Chicago flag as a backdrop. It was perfect. They were up for an early morning session, despite rain clouds slowly headed our way. I chugged coffee that morning and just moved VERY quickly. And boy, did it pay off!
