So if you haven’t noticed, I’ve gone a little radio silent on social media lately. But what can I say, life’s been a weeee busy, because we are… MOVING!
The last six months feels like an utter whirlwind- but it feels SO dang good to finally share our news! Between the pandemic, temporary waves of remote learning, and holidays- we’ve had our emotional highs and lows. So to those who’ve reached out to me in the past couple of months- I sincerely appreciate your patience!
We’re not moving very far, we’re just officially making the move to the ‘burbs. (Specifically, a western Chicago suburb called Elmhurst.) It’s bittersweet to leave our Chicago home. Building a custom home was a labor of love, especially since we designed every square inch ourselves. (Watch our demo reel of the original structure here!)
In fact, I’ve noticed that now more than ever, families are reconsidering where they plant roots. Jobs are shifting, and companies are being more flexible with employees working remote. This has made families reconsider their priorities and where to invest the rest of their time together. Most of all, it’s also made parents extra sentimental about documenting their favorite moments together- whether it’s in their first, second, temporary, or new home sweet home. After all, it’s where childhood memories are made.
I can’t wait to share more of our new home, neighborhood, and what redecorating I have in store for our new digs. Stay tuned to follow along with our next family’s adventure!

P.S. Fret not, Chicago families- I still regularly travel to the city (DAILY. Our two kids will continue attending in-person school in North Center for the remainder of the school year)!
