Their gorgeous newly-renovated home in the Chicago suburbs was WELL worth the wait for this sweet family!

I can emphathize. We went through a similar process while preggo with our own #2, and it sure does make prepping for your newborn‘s homecoming much more challenging. Contractors, paint colors, furnishings, picking out new appliances, trying to coordinate old furniture with new, window treatments, oh and MOVING… to name a few! It sure does make your newly promoted ‘big sibling’ toddler all the more patient*, lol. (*insert sarcasm here*)

No matter what path of parenthood you happen to be in, or whatever residence you happen to call home, just remember that it’s nice to have permanence of these early memories.
