This Chicago couple gets engaged after a romantic surprise proposal in Lincoln Park’s iconic North Pond location, complete with red rose petals!
will you accept this… rose?
Well, actually.. her name is STEPHANIE, but her middle name is Rose! And she accepted a ring and his amazing proposal, not an actual rose. (Let’s face it. It just made for a better headline! You can’t tell me you’ve never seen or heard of The Bachelor…)
Matt commissioned me to utilize my amazing ninja photography skills and I hid out in the bushes, cleared out the location (which was great entertainment for those dining in North Pond Restaurant), and outfitted the proposal scene with some fresh red rose petals. We coordinated the walking path logistics, so I would know where to anticipate their arrival. Everything went according to plan, and mission accomplished- Stephanie said ‘YES’!
